2010 foal announcement

TAILWINDS JUNCTION PROUDLY ADMITS....

Actually on May 4th, we had a terrible spring blizzard that started last Wednesday night and blew until late Friday. On Thursday morning we had no power and a foot of snow and some 3 foot drifts. Sharen went to the barn at 7 am and discovered that our mare FRECKLES had just birthed a black filly. We named her CINDER ELLA as she is smokey black.

At 4:00 in the afternoon, Will went out to check the preggo mares just in time to see MINI MIA, who is FRECKLES' daughter, go into labour. 20 minutes later MIA, had little EYE CANDY, an appy filly.

Both mares are 2-3 weeks early. Both were bred on the same day to the same stallion SMOKER.

The babies are fine. The grandparents (us) are thrilled.
