In 2006, we had 10 foals, 6 girls and 4 boys. In 2007, we had 9 foals, 3 fillies and 6 colts so that makes us 50/50 over 2 years. In 2008, we are expecting 11 foals and two are "surprises". Most of our foals are now Tailwinds breeding or girls that we had bought as babies and raised. The mares were bred to Nugget and Rebel. It has been very exciting for us as we see the final results of our long term breeding program. However in the final days of pregnant discomfort, there are a few luxuries that become much more important than normal. Here are a few.
